Frequently Asked Questions

What annual temperatures are included in this comparison?

The filter selects country profiles with a 20–26°C annual average. That is not a year-round or city-level temperature guarantee; seasonal extremes can be materially different.

How much rainfall do these climate-perfect countries receive?

The filter uses fewer than 150 days with at least 10 mm of precipitation in the comparable climate baseline. It is not the same as any measurable drizzle or a promise of sunny days.

Are these destinations affected by hurricanes or extreme weather?

This category does not filter hurricanes or other hazards. Check the country and city risk information, seasonal advisories, and local emergency planning before choosing a location.

Do I need heating or air conditioning in these locations?

Heating and cooling needs are not derived from the country annual average. They depend on local elevation, seasonal extremes, building standards, and personal comfort; ask for current utility costs in the target city.

How does the altitude affect the climate in these countries?

Elevation can materially change temperatures within a country, but this dataset is country-level. Compare the individual city climate and elevation rather than assuming an “eternal spring” effect.

Are these locations good for outdoor activities year-round?

The filter identifies a moderate annual temperature and wet-day count; it does not guarantee uninterrupted outdoor conditions. Check seasonal rain, heat, air quality, and local facilities for the city.
